Brave Beauties shot from 2014 onwards consist of a series of portraits of Trans women, gender non-conforming and non-binary. Many of the women photographed are also beauty pageant contestants. They enter these pageants in order to change the mind set of those present. Those who are often happy to persecute trans-women. So, these images challenge transphobic stereotypes and stigmas.
SXSW the World’s most unique festival
Ultimately the 2021 edition of SXSW festival was a roaring success and in many ways showcased the fact that this festival is a great opportunity to instigate cultural conversations across the boundaries of artistic disciplines.

THE CROWN – PART 2
In the now notorious Oprah Winfrey interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex we saw an image of a highly fractured royal family. It was indeed eerie to see how the tale they told bore uncanny similarities to the one we had just been watching; a dysfunctional family with the added ingredient of charges of racism.

From powerful documentaries and breakout indie features to innovative storytelling and bold new voices, this year’s virtual edition delivered a diverse and compelling slate of films that reflected the evolving face of cinema.
THE CROWN
Netflix’s wildly popular The Crown, a fictionalized account of this unique family who throughout the last century managed to avoid the fate of others, even those they were related to, such as Germany’s Kaiser and Russia’s Czar, and emerge intact. The fourth series though arrives at perhaps the Royal family’s most difficult moment.
